1. At which university did you study? I graduated with Bachelors in Occupational Therapy from the University of Cape Town in 1994. I later obtained my Masters in Early Childhood Intervention from the University of Pretoria in 2004.

2. When did you join the Et Al team? I joined the team as a full-time occupational therapist in 2012.

3. Which settings do you currently work in? I offer a fine motor group programme at a pre-primary school, and one-on-one therapy at the practice. I work with children from birth to 7 years – the youngest was 3 weeks old. I work with any diagnosis, but I have a special interest in babies and children with sensory processing difficulties.

4. What do you enjoy most about your job? I have two favourite things about working with children – one is a child’s capacity to develop and grow when they get the right assistance and to witness their excitement when they achieve goals; the second thing is when parents get to see and enjoy their children’s progress and development and get excited for them.

5. Fun fact about you: I love crafts – knitting, sewing, colouring in, fabric painting, crochet, mosaics and my favourite – scrapbooking!
